Hydraulic fluid samples can be analyzed
at the field or laboratory using proper
equipment

NOTE
Contamination in the hydraulic system can
have a very adverse effect upon the
operation of the aircraft and system
components. Every effort shall be made to
prevent contamination inside the system.
The flushing and oil sampling procedures
shall be accomplished in an area as clean
and dust free as possible. The hydraulic test
stand shall be properly serviced and
maintained and all equipment shall be clean.
All hoses, ports and connections shall have
dust caps or plugs in place when not in use.
