2-41.1 FUNCTIONAL TEST(refer to figure
5.Remove the Elevator Check Templates.
6.Perform a manual JOM disconnection as described in
the JOM Functional Test (refer to para
use of the control stick fixture/dynamometer.
7.Position the pilot and the copilot control stick fully
forward (LH/RH elevators will move in full down
position).
8.Remove hydraulic pressure from system No. 1 and
No.2 .
9.Remove AC EXT electrical power.
CAUTION

After rod removal be aware do not
change the input rod total length ( on left
and right side ).

10.At left rear quadrant, disconnect the rod (6) from the
lever (7) by removal of the cotter pin (12), the
castellated nut (11), the flat washer (10), the bushing
(9), and the bolt (8). Discard the cotter pin (12).
11.Disconnect the rod (6) from the Hydraulic Elevator
Actuator (1) by removal of the cotter pin (5), the
castellated nut (4), the flat washer (3) and the bolt (2).
Discard the cotter pin (5).
12.At right rear quadrant disconnect the rod (6) from the
lever (7) by removal of the cotter pin (12), the
castellated nut (11), the flat washer (item 10), the
bushing (9), and the bolt (8). Discard the cotter pin
(12).
13.Disconnect the rod (6) from the Hydraulic Elevator
Actuator (1) by removal of the cotter pin (5), the
castellated nut (4), the flat washer (3) and the bolt (2).
Discard the cotter pin (5).
