PREPARATION. (Cont'd)
2.Connect the external electrical feeder to the aircraft
and switch-on.
3.Connect the pressure line of the Hydraulic Test Stand
(using the new hydraulic fluid) to the ground test point
of the system 1 and put the suction line on a separate
container.
4.lncrease the Hydraulic Test Stand pressure to 800 -
900 psi and adjust the flow rate to 20 l/min to remove
all the hydraulic fluid from the reservoir system 1.
When the reservoir is empty reduce pressure and flow
rate to zero.
5.Repeat steps 3. and 4. to empty the reservoir of the
system No 2.
6.Ensure that all the accumulators pressure indicators
show the appropriate gas pre-charge values.
7.Leave the Hydraulic Test Stand connected to the
ground test point system 2. Re-adjust the pressure at
a value between 800 and 900 psi and the flow rate at
25 lt/min to perform the re-oiling.
CAUTION
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Check the oil level of the Hydraulic Test
Stand permanently during the re-oiling
procedure and refill if necessary.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
NOTE
Due to the low pressure delivered during the
re-oiling procedure, it may be that the
hydraulic utilizers will move slowly.
