HYDRAULIC SYSTEM 2 RE-OILING (Cont'd)
11.Select the switch NOSE GEAR to UP to allow
hydraulic fluid discharge to the separate container.
12.When about 2 oil litres are expelled, select the switch
NOSE GEAR to DN.
13.Re-connect the flexible hydraulic pipe to NLG shock
absorber.
14.Adjust the hydraulic Test stand pressure to 0 psi.
-RUDDER CIRCUIT
1.Press alternatively the left and the right pedals to
allow the rudder to travel fully left and fully right.
2.Repeat the pedals actuation 7 times until the rudder
circuit is scavenged (7 rudder actuation cycles
correspond to 5 oil litres discharged from the rudder
circuit).
3.Stop the re-oiling of the rudder circuit.
-ELEVATORS CIRCUIT
1.Move the control stick forward and rearward to allow
the elevators to travel upward and downward.
2.Repeat the control stick actuation 26 times until the
elevators circuit is scavenged (26 elevators actuation
cycles correspond to 2 oil litres discharged from the
elevators circuit).
3.Stop the re-oiling of the elevators circuit.
-LOADING RAMP & CARGO DOOR CIRCUIT
1.On the Load Master Control Panel select the
MASTER DOORS switch to ON. Select the RAMP
DOOR switch to DN to allow the loading ramp to lower
then select the CARGO DOOR switch to OPEN to
allow the cargo door to open.
2.Select the RAMP DOOR switch to UP to allow the
loading ramp to raise then select the CARGO DOOR
switch to CLOSED to allow the cargo door to close.
