HYDRAULIC SYSTEM 1 RE-OILING (Cont'd)
8.Empty, through the Hydraulic Test stand, the aircraft
reservoirs system 1 and system 2.
9.Fill-up, definitively, the aircraft reservoirs system 1
and system 2 with new type oil.
10.Repeat steps 4. to 7.
-ENGINE RUN
1.Start the Engine 1 and stabilize at GND IDLE to put in
rotation the EDP 1.
2.Allow the oil to circulate in the EDP 1 circuit by
activating a utility (i.e. rudder, elevators).
3.Start the Engine 2 and stabilize at GND IDLE to put in
rotation the EDP 2.
4.Allow the oil to circulate in the EDP 2 circuit by
activating a utility (i.e. rudder, elevators).
5.Stop the Engine 1 and the Engine 2.
-FLUID SAMPLING
1.Take one oil sample (flush 0.5 litre minimum before
taking the sampling) from the system 1 and from the
system 2 reservoir.
2.Analyse the fluid and verify that the cleanliness is in
accordance with NAS1638 class 7 or
better.Furthermore verify that the rate of concentration
of the new oil in the system 1 and in the system 2 is
not less than 90%.
NOTE
Waiting for concentration rate analysis
results, the A/C is cleared for flight, under
the condition that the worst perfomance
limitation applicable to each hydraulic fluid of
them involved in re-oiling procedure shall be
considered valid. Hydraulic fluids mixture
operating temperature range -40 F thru +
275 F(-40 Cthru+135 C).
